Laurie Hartman’s Masterclass – Fully Booked

Academy of Physical Medicine Charles Parker Building (South), Midland Road, Higham Ferrers, United Kingdom

Prof Hartman has spent over 50 years as one the UK's premier osteopaths.  He has threatened to retire on numerous occasions in the past, but we have managed to get him to agree to one more course!  This, therefore, is a genuinely rare opportunity to learn from the master. Over his years in practice, Laurie made it his mission to develop precise, safe, effective techniques for manipulation of every possible joint, and has lectured across the world on the topic.  Few, if any, can equal his skill in applying high-velocity thrusts. The expression "minimal leverage" is possibly inaccurate, although we use it here because it is the most widely understood description of this method of working.  In fact, Laurie will show you how to incorporate a multitude of levers, so that the movement itself is tiny, and the stress on the patient minimal. You can expect very personal supervision - the maximum number Laurie is prepared to teach is 24 (ie 12 students working at any one time).  He is also very responsive to student queries, so if there's a particular technique that you have trouble with, he'll willingly demonstrate how you can perfect it.
