Case-Based Discussion

Online at apmcpd.co.uk

Our Case-Based Discussions count towards your “Learning With Others”. For osteopaths, they also count as an “Objective Activity”, one of which is compulsory in the 3-year CPD cycle. Note: We do not post a recording of the Case-Based Discussions. This is to encourage participants to speak openly and to preserve patient confidentiality.

First Aid in the Clinic – In Person Course

Academy of Physical Medicine Charles Parker Building (South), Midland Road, Higham Ferrers, United Kingdom

A first aid emergency can occur at any time.  And it’s MORE LIKELY in your clinic, because you actively invite people with problems in to see you.  And there’s no guarantee that the problem is what they think it is! The public (and sadly, the press) need to be assured that you have the skills needed to deal with potentially life-threatening emergencies. That's why this hands-on course is for you. This is not like other first aid training. Firstly, it’s taught by APM’s 2 fantastic instructors – Steven Bruce and Malcolm Parnell. Further, it’s tailored to what you might encounter in your clinic. It’s enjoyable – great fun, in fact (because we make it that way!) Class size is limited, so that you get optimum supervision.  Cost – £144 inc VAT  Qualification  – HSE-recognised “Emergency First Aid at Work” certificate, valid for 3 years

£144
