About The Course
This is a one-day course, led by former paramedic Malcolm Parnell. Malcolm has years of experience in first aid issues, a qualified first aid instructor, and certified as an instructor in Mental Health First Aid by MHFAE (Mental Health First Aid England).
This course is split into a number of sessions, with “breakout groups” as and when appropriate.
At the end of the course you’ll understand the basics of mental health problems, be able to care for yourself and offer support to others.
This course will better prepare you to manage individuals with mental health issues and help you understand the supporting networks available to them. You will be better equipped to help reduce incidences of mental ill-health.
Malcolm Parnell has over 25 years‘ experience in first aid issues, is a qualified first aid instructor, and is also certified as an instructor in Mental Health First Aid by MHFAE (Mental Health First Aid England).
This course takes place on Saturday, 29th March 2025 at APM studio in Higham Ferrers
We'll start at 9:30am and finish at 5pm, with a couple of breaks for refreshments and an hour for lunch.
Your fee includes refreshments throughout the 1 day course. The fee however does not include Lunches.
The course cost is £160. You can pay the full amount today or you can pay in three monthly instalments.

Cancellation
Our policy is that we cannot guarantee a refund should you cancel later than one month before the course starts. That said, we understand that circumstances change and problems can arise which are out of your control. We'll do everything we can to fill your place, and if we're successful, then we'll refund your fee.
