Thank You for Booking

We’ll send you more details about this online course a few days before it starts, and you’ll be getting a couple of things through the post which you’ll need on the day.

Here are a few other things you need to bear in mind however:

Date, Timings, Grub

Sunday 4th July 2021
9:00am – 12:30pm
1:30pm – 4:30pm

Lunch is up to you(!), but we’ll also have a short break midway through the sessions for tea and biscuits.

What to Wear

It’s up to you, but bear in mind that you’re going to be doing some practical stuff on the floor.

You will need another person in the room for you to practise a couple of techniques on – it doesn’t matter if it’s an adult or a young person (but they need to be old enough to do as they’re told!).

Here are the times when your assistant will be needed:

10:15 (15 minutes) – this one’s optional, but it will make the training more memorable
12:00 (30 minutes) – this one’s non-negotiable.  We cannot issue a certificate unless we’ve seen you perform the essential skills.

You’ll need a computer with a camera and a microphone.  You’ll also need an internet connection.

MS Teams: we’ll send you a link to the MS Teams room prior to the event.  You don’t need to download the MS Teams app, but some people have found it works better if they do.

Browser:  Chrome seems to be the most reliable browser, and Safari the worst.  We aren’t aware of problems with the alternatives, but we always recommend Chrome.

This course will be delivered online.  By purchasing the course, you are agreeing to be filmed, and for the course to be recorded by The Academy of Physical Medicine.  That recording is for internal quality control and will not be shared with other people.

It is a condition of attending this course that you do not record the material yourself, or take screenshots of any part of the course
