Why do I have to register?

Registration lets us personalise your certificate, connect it to your profession, and create an account where your certificates can be stored securely in your online account.

Setting your profession customises the diary to your CPD schedule (3-yearly for osteopaths, annual for chiropractors and others).

You only have to register once - you can log in to your diary and all the free broadcasts from the same account.

And if you forget your login details (we've all been there!) there's a very simple "Snappy Link" option to get you in.

About the diary:

The diary lets you set the dates of your cycle.  It works for both a 3-year cycle (osteopaths) and a one year cycle (chiropractors and others).  For osteopaths, it also shows your annual CPD totals, which are needed for your re-registration.

All CPD you carry out with The Academy is automatically uploaded to the diary, but you can also add any other CPD you carry out, along with your supporting evidence (your certificate, for example)

The diary keeps a running total of your hours, allowing you to keep on track and complete your CPD returns with minimal effort.

No secrets - here are the answers to the most common concerns

Is registration really free?
Absolutely. You'll get access to all our  free broadcasts at no cost.  Attend live, and these counts Learning With Others.
Why are you offering free access?
Obviously, we want more people to become members of The Academy.  But we realise that you need to see for yourself just how good our content is.  Free access doesn't get you everything, but it'll give you an idea of what to expect from full membership.
Do I need to register for every broadcast?
No. Register once and you can use the same account for future free broadcasts.
Why do you need to know my profession?
The CPD requirements are different for osteos, chiros, physios and others.  Your diary will be specific to the needs of your own profession
Once I register, will you swamp me with marketing emails?
No. We'll remind you about upcoming shows and let you know about other CPD events, but you can turn off these emails without losing your free access.  Bear in mind that, if you unsubscribe, we can't then let you know when the free shows are coming up!
Will I have acess to the recordings of the shows?
No. Our huge library of recorded content is only available to full members.  Why is this?  Well, I'm sure you can understand that we have a business to run, with staff costs, admin costs and a near BBC-standard studio to maintain.  Like you, we'd love to give everything away free, but it's just not possible.
Are you going to share my email address with anyone?
Absolutely not!
